Training for the team

AI training in maintenance

AI training for maintenance at Syntalith covers preparing order history, comparing documents and writing questions for the website. The price starts from €1,150 net per day. We select the program for planners, technicians and people coordinating documentation. The team brings knowledge of the equipment and plant policies, and during classes they practice checking and communicating information.

Statistics

How much does AI training for maintenance cost and when does it pay off?

Short answer

AI training for maintenance costs from €1,150 net per day. In our Polish cost example, a PLN 4,900 training fee pays back in 2.6 months: 10 people save an hour a week, and after the licenses they have PLN 1,905 left per month. Technicians practice searching machine documentation, change notes and breakdown descriptions. We measure task time before the training and after 30 days.

70,9%

According to Eurostat (2025), 70.9% of companies in the EU that have considered AI but are not using it cited a lack of knowledge within the team as the reason.

Scope step by step

History of work must preserve the device and source

Participants receive fictional descriptions of tasks. With the help of AI, they prepare a chronology, preserving device identifiers and references to records. They separate the reported symptom, the performed action, and the confirmed finding. The record of part replacement alone does not explain the cause of the failure.

In an example exercise, two tasks concern similarly named devices. The model links them into a history of recurring failure. The participant separates the entries by identifiers and improves the summary. The instructor evaluates whether the reader can return to the correct task.

Comparison of service scope and questions for the technician

The second module concerns the compilation of a work report followed by an explanation. The participant indicates differences, records missing information, and prepares a short question for the person who can explain it. In the message, the device identifier and time period are preserved so that the recipient does not have to reconstruct the context.

The instructor draws attention to overly broad questions and conclusions not supported by documentation. The author improves the text, and then the colleague reads it as someone taking over the task. He should know what materials are available and what is still missing.

The independent attempt includes a later explanation that changes the description of one action. The participant updates the history without removing the trace of the previous record and prepares information for the planner. We evaluate identifiers, sources, handling of uncertainty, and the clarity of the message.

Working conditions during the session

A technician who is just getting to know AI can start with a short description of their own work. A planner already using the tool receives more tasks and answers to compile. Joint discussion allows checking what details are needed for the next person. The scope of the manager's involvement and the division into groups are established before the training.

The program includes documentation and communication. Diagnosis, repair instructions, maintenance schedules, and decisions regarding safety remain outside the scope. Exercises do not require connecting machines or sharing control systems. Integration with CMMS or a documentation database requires a separate project.

What do we agree on in the offer?

We indicate the tool approved by the facility, access for participants, and licenses. Syntalith does not sell licenses. We can prepare fictional tasks when documentation cannot be shared. Before using real materials, the company defines the rules for their processing.

The format, whether online or on-site, groups, time for revisions, and potential follow-up meetings are recorded in the offer. Examples describe the proposed work of participants, without confirmed industry implementation or time savings measurement. Describe the task review that requires many explanations. Forms of cooperation are presented in team training.

Task review and task transfer

The history of tasks is in the system, the technician's explanation is in an email, and before the meeting, someone again composes an image of the situation from them. The program includes preparing a task review, comparing documents, and transferring tasks so that the recipient does not have to reconstruct the entire history.

Exercises are selected according to roles: the planner works on the task review, the technician on the description of the failure and transferring the change, and the manager on a short summary for decision-making.

How much does the training cost and when is it recouped

Training starts at €1,150 net per day. We calculate the return on one process, without assumptions about the entire company.

Scenario: 10 people after training (Polish cost example, PLN)
Time saved
43.3 hours/month
Value of time
2,877 PLN
ChatGPT Business Licenses
250 USD (972 PLN)
Remaining after licenses
1,905 PLN/month

Return on training for 4,900 PLN

2.6 months

10 people × 1 hour weekly × 4.33 weeks = 43.3 hours. We cautiously assume and check the weekly time saved per person and measure the time of tasks before and after 30 days. An hour of work at 66.45 PLN is the average wage according to GUS from September 2026, including employer costs. Licenses: ChatGPT Business Standard 25 USD per place monthly, kurs NBP 3.8889 PLN. If the team already has licenses, the return is faster.

According to a study published in Science (2023), the time for writing tasks with ChatGPT has decreased by 40%. Therefore, the scenario adopts a cautious weekly hour and checks it with a time measurement.

Most common questions

How much does AI maintenance training cost?

From €1,150 net per day of sessions. The price of the program depends on the number of groups, the number of meetings, and the time for discussing work. Tool licenses are purchased by the company.

Does the training replace the order in the system?

Training helps work with current data. If task descriptions are inconsistent, it is first worth establishing a common way of recording in the maintenance system.

Can the training take place online?

Yes. Sessions are conducted in the client's office in Warsaw or online, in a tool approved by the company.

„I already use AI.”

Your people too. Just no rules.

From our conversations with companies

5 na 10 employees paste sensitive data into private AI accounts: contracts, invoices, customer data.

In ESET survey (2026)

1 na 10 admits this in the survey.

Customer data pasted into a private AI account without an data processing agreement is a violation of the GDPR.

Don't worry, we won't tell anyone :)

What do we see in companies that "already use"

  • Only ChatGPT or Claude accounts, without plugins, skills, integrations and MCP servers with company tools.
  • Company programs are not connected to AI. People still click through systems and Excel, and enter chat data manually.
  • Lack of company standards: everyone writes instructions in their own way, no one shares what works.
  • No rules for personal data, GDPR and company secrets.
  • No limits and no visibility: no one knows who uses AI, how much and for what.

62% Polish employees use AI at work · 27% companies have written rules for working with AI.

  • „A large stream of documents passes my desk every week. I now review, draft and prepare them with Claude in a fraction of the time, and research that used to eat an afternoon takes minutes. It is wired into the services I already work in, so the documents reach me instead of me hunting for them.”

  • „I came in using coding agents ad hoc and left orchestrating them: loops, an agent kanban, a full development cycle that ships. What stayed with me is running context and cost on purpose, and building my own harnesses instead of waiting for a tool to ship one. It changed how I work day to day.”

Let's talk

Just write, call or choose a date.

We work fast because we hate corporate cotton wool. We don't have salespeople or managers to keep an eye on managers. You talk immediately to engineers who then build your system. We respect each other's time and yours too.

We will accept 3 more companies by the end of the year.
