An integration makes sense if the ideas list works but selected trials happen elsewhere and results never return to the author. A custom workflow is worth considering when the company needs to connect proposals across locations, shared decisions, and reuse of findings consistently. Commission that scope without automatically replacing the management of every project.

Preserve the result for future teams

For migration, prioritize ideas awaiting a decision, trials in progress, and findings the team may reuse. Old submissions without a conclusion need the process owner’s assessment. Importing them should not automatically present them as current commitments.

Agree who supports contributors and maintains project-tool connections. Exports should preserve the relationships between a proposal, its trial, and its outcome. Access to data, code, and documentation allows a future provider change while retaining the teams’ work.
