What does ChatGPT and Claude training cost a business?

The cost of ChatGPT or Claude training includes the agreed programme, the tools needed and the time employees spend learning. That fee is a starting point for delivery. The company's internal work belongs in the budget too, and can be its largest component when a whole department attends.

Per-person courses and private workshops use different units

An open course sells places on a fixed programme. A private workshop buys an agreed scope and trainer time for a group. A daily rate needs a definition: how many teaching hours, how many participants and what preparation?

For example, the Polish JSystems ChatGPT Business open offer lists PLN 1,400 net, while MKM Labs lists private one-day workshops from PLN 10,000 net for up to 12 people. They are different purchases. Our Polish AI training provider comparison links to the programmes and pricing sources.

Ask providers to quote for the same headcount, practice hours and materials. If one includes follow-up consultations and another covers only the workshop, show that difference alongside the price.

A training budget for ten employees

The following planning scenario assumes one workshop day, six hours of participation per employee and fully loaded labour costs of EUR 25 per hour. Six hours is a calculation assumption, not the stated duration of every Syntalith training day.

The modelled internal effort totals EUR 1,825. Adding the starting delivery fee gives EUR 2,425 plus tools, before any additional supplier work. This is an organisational cost calculation, not a fixed-price offer. Employee salaries may already be budgeted, but their time still has an opportunity cost.

Do not count a manager's hour again if it already appears in participant time. Existing licences may mean no new purchase is needed; check the available usage allowance before the session.

Adding ChatGPT or Claude accounts

Prices checked on 30 September 2026: the public ChatGPT Business Standard rate is USD 25 per user per month, or USD 20 monthly equivalent when billed annually, with a two-seat minimum. OpenAI pricing.

Anthropic lists the same US rates for Claude Team Standard: USD 25 monthly or USD 20 monthly equivalent on annual billing, with at least two members. Local prices and taxes may differ. Claude Team terms.

At those rates, ten standard seats in one tool cost USD 250 for a month. Two complete sets of ten cost USD 500. A smaller comparison group can test the two tools before the company buys both for everyone. Syntalith does not resell licences; we agree the access needed for exercises before training.

Subscriptions have usage limits. Extra usage and API calls can create separate charges. Keep dollar costs separate from euro or zloty totals unless you state the exchange rate and date.

What changes the programme quote?

Preparing neutral sample documents is different from studying several types of company contract and report. One shared task for a team also requires different preparation from separate exercises for sales, finance and IT.

Group count, participants' experience, data preparation, travel, consultations and assessment all affect scope. Ask for the workshop, preparation and additional sessions to be priced separately. That makes it easier to reduce scope while retaining the most useful exercise.

Measuring whether the training helped

Choose recurring work and measure total completion time before and after training. Include checking, corrections and failed attempts. More ChatGPT messages do not tell you how much usable work the company received.

Suppose eight employees each complete six such tasks per week, and each task takes eight minutes less after checking is included. Released capacity is 8 × 6 × 8 ÷ 60 = 6.4 hours weekly. Over four weeks, at the assumed EUR 25 hourly cost, its value is EUR 640. This is a model to verify in practice; released capacity does not automatically reduce cash expenditure.
