It checks every PDF page and runs OCR only on pages that are images. In a sample of 181 files and 496 pages, OCR cost €1.17. A damaged or unreadable document goes to a person. Demonstrator on test data.

How much does automated data entry cost?
From €3,000 net, paid once. After the 5-day test the build takes 2 to 6 weeks. You get a fixed price before the contract: 50% on signing and 50% after acceptance on your own documents.
Why OCR when Poland has KSeF?
Invoices from KSeF, Poland's national e-invoicing system, arrive as data and need no OCR. Reading is still needed for foreign invoices, receipts and photos of documents.
When does it not pay off?
Below 170 documents a month the payback takes more than a year. Then it is better to start with ChatGPT or Claude for the team, from €1,150 net.
What do we need to prepare?
20 to 100 documents from outside KSeF from a few clients, the client list with tax ID numbers, and the program the data goes into.
