The transport document check we have already built
It first checks the brightness, sharpness and framing of the photo. A poor one goes straight back to the driver with a request for a new one. A readable document is read once, with the source of every field, and an operator approves the result. Reading one document cost €0.0069 in model work. Demonstrator on test data.

Where should a transport company start with AI?

How much does transport document automation cost?
From €3,000 net, paid once. After the 5-day test the build takes 2 to 6 weeks. You get a fixed price before the contract: 50% on signing and 50% after acceptance on your own documents.
Is an OCR module in the TMS or ChatGPT enough?
If your documents are uniform and the TMS module already reads them, that is enough, and we will tell you so in the review. ChatGPT on private accounts has no data processing agreement and no trail. We build a system when photo quality varies and order numbers have to be matched.
When does it not pay off?
Below 170 documents a month the payback takes more than a year. Then it is better to start with ChatGPT or Claude for the forwarding team, from €1,150 net, with training on your own correspondence.
Will the system connect to our TMS?
We check this before we quote: an import, an API or an export file. If the TMS does not accept outside data, the result goes into a file that billing loads into the TMS.
What about poor photos from drivers?
The system checks each photo before reading it. An unreadable one goes straight back to the driver with a request for a new shot, before the document gets stuck in billing.
